How do I wear my High Tops sneakers

I am posting this as a couple of nights ago, I was talking to a friend about the Isabel Marant sneakers. Love or hate the high tops wedged sneakers are here to stay. It's amazing how the fashion crowd divides itself on this one, these shoes are the marmite of the fashion world. 

I am, of course, one of the lovers. I always thought they look cool and not much different from a pair of normal trainers to be honest, people that don't follow magazines or blogs wouldn't even say they have a wedge on the inside. That is one of the reasons why I liked them at first, they look sporty but still will give you some poise as you stand on the wedge. 

Most of my friends, cringe when they see these and I honestly can't understand why. Someone said that they were so last season, yes they are, but now there are cheaper versions available, the trend will definitely last longer. Of course, that includes the good, the bad and the ugly versions, no doubt about that, but all will depend on the quality of your sneakers and how you style it. 

Coloured versions are available everywhere but I think it's easier sticking with a black one, as it goes with everything and they are not so in your face. 

As for the Marant's, I like them but I wouldn't pay it even if I had the money, too overpriced! I am really happy with mine which are inspired, they have the same thick tongue but I love the studs on mine better. 

Here is how I rock it:

The winning combo for me is with a pair of real leather leggings, making your legs look really long.

With bare legs and a plaid shirt dress, for the grunge look.

Easy peasy with tights. 

Super casual with a pair of skinny jeans.

They are definitely staying on my closet, trust me once you try these, you will love them.

These were the first version available at Zara, now they have a new version with studs on the side, but I still love the simplicity of this one.
